CapitalEvolve is not a savings account or high-yield savings account. It is being designed as an employer-supported investing benefit linked to an employee-owned taxable brokerage account held by a future regulated third-party provider.

This comparison is general education, not tax, legal or investment advice. Product characteristics depend on institution, employer program, plan terms and individual circumstances.
Savings and high-yield savings accounts
A bank savings account holds cash rather than market securities. A high-yield savings account is still a deposit account; “high yield” generally describes a comparatively higher variable interest rate, not an investment return. Eligible deposits at insured institutions may receive FDIC or NCUA coverage within applicable rules and limits.
Interest rates can change. Fees, minimums, withdrawal policies and transfer timing vary by institution. Compare annual percentage yield, not just an advertised rate.
Taxable investing and CapitalEvolve
A taxable brokerage account can hold securities whose value rises or falls. Dividends, distributions and realized gains may have tax consequences. CapitalEvolve is designed to provide technology, employer administration, payroll integration and the employee experience around an account held through a future brokerage/custody provider.
Your employer may contribute if its program offers contributions. Once deposited according to applicable terms, the intended account structure is employee-owned and designed to remain yours after changing jobs.
401(k) retirement plans
A 401(k) is a qualified employer retirement plan. Contributions, distributions, employer contributions, vesting, loans and withdrawals are controlled by tax law and plan terms. CapitalEvolve is not a 401(k), does not provide the same tax treatment and is not intended to replace retirement saving.
What “accessible” means
Access to an investment account is not the same as cash in a bank account. Eligible withdrawals may require securities to be sold and settled. Bank processing, market holidays, account restrictions, fraud reviews and other factors can affect availability.
Investing involves risk, including possible loss of principal. Securities are not FDIC insured and are not guaranteed by CapitalEvolve or a participating employer.
